As most of you already know, the Barefoot Bandit has finally been caught after 2 years and $1.5 million in crashed planes and stolen boats/cars. Regardless of all the haters, we think he's dope! I swear last year I was already thinking this guy's gonna have his own movie just from all the hell and chaos he was causing the police let alone the FBI. Who wouldn't want watch this story? So yesterday I took a small poll at the office to see who would be the best candidate to play Colton. These are the kind of very important thoughts we have at Casual.
(Young) Ray Liotta - Dan's Pick
I forget why he picked him. God knows Ray Liotta need another good movie. He sucks. Although it'd be hilarious watching Ray Liotta pretend he's a teenager running around wearing clothes that don't fit him.
I'll give him some points for kinda sorta looking like Colton. Dan's first choice was Robert Pattison. He wanted to take that one back too.
Channing Tatum - Kristen's Pick
As you can imagine, she quickly decided to take back this pick after google img searching his name. I don't like this guy. He's always playing really douchy roles. What was that one where he was a janitor and all the sudden started doing some b-boy ballet dancing at the place he was suppose to be cleaning? I'm gonna have to give Kristen a -5pt for that one.
Ben Foster - Kristen's redeeming pick
I like this guy because he's always playing some kind of ill tempered degenerate, as seen in Alpha Dog. His parts are the only reason to watch the movie. Although they'd probably have to some how make him look 19. Smooth over some forehead lines and add a dash of acne and then you've got yourself a 19yr old. Not a bad pick. I'd give Kristen +5, which puts here at an even zero.
Nicolas Cage - My pick
C'mon son, plane crashes and crazy escape situations from the police. That's practically a 3pt sank by Kobe. It's just right. It's not even a question of age. Just ask yourself, if you really wanted a movie to work out with Nicolas Cage what would you do? Give the bum some hair and leave all the badass 1-liners up to him. 10 pts for me.
Shia Labeouf - AK and Gino's pick
This one made the most sense. There's only a 5yr age difference and their pasts are somewhat similiar. Both from broken families and both are pretty strange people. Difference is one has a couple million to blow and the other blows things up that cost a million. I think we have a winner. I have a free whopper coupon from Burger King that AK & Gino will have to battle to the death for.

Zack Effron - Brendo's Pick
Kristen told me during lunch that Brendo thought Zack should play Colton. The weird thing is that he didn't know we were making a poll on it. He just brought it up in conversation. Lucky for him I wasn't finished with this post. My thoughts on Zack Effron is that he looks like Justin Bieber if he were a 19yr old girl. Justina Bieber, if you will. I think he needs a huge cut across his face to play someone who steals planes and participates in high speed boat chases with guns.
