Some Friday morning inspiration with Eric Kelly. There's very few people that will be brutally honest with you while they teach or mentor you. You gotta respect and appreciate them because they'll give you nothing but truth.

I know a handful of guys like this. And every time I see them I make damn sure I don't say or do anything stupid in front of them. Half the time I won't say a word. Just listen.

I say tons of stupid things in my head. That's why i'm always smiling.

11th annual Clean Water Classic surfing competition

This weekend in Westport,WA we will be auctioning a very limited edition Surf board.

Be sure to stop by our tent for free high fives, and say hi to the ladies of Casual: Kristen, Liza, and Kristina.

Details: The 11th annual Clean Water Classic surfing competition is scheduled for May 19th and 20th, 2012. This event, the largest continuously run Pro/Am competition in the Pacific Northwest, will take place in Westport, Washington.

The Clean Water Classic weekend includes not only great surfing, but also live music, movie showings, a vendor village, silent auction and raffle.

The event is a fundraiser for the Pacific Northwest Chapters of the Surfrider Foundation. A grassroots environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the worlds oceans, waves and beaches. Local rapper,writer, producer Katie Kate dropped her new video "uh...no". I think it's pretty dope. Last year at the city art festival, Kristen and myself we were both thoroughly impressed when we saw Katie Kate open for Mad Rad at Neumoes. Needless to say I've considered myself a fan ever since. If you follow Casual Industrees, you know we idolize the Beastie Boys. They are more than Legends and their contribution to pop culture/music is relevant to this day. needles to say we will be pouring some out and putting one in the air for MCA.
