"Someone has to differentiate themselves from the pack, and being 'disagreeable' seems like a way to accomplish that. I don't think it's fair to associate disagreeableness with meanness, though."
There's some good points to this article. Not saying to be a dick at work, more of don't be the guy taking the dick at work. Does that make sense? Don't be a yesman. Nobody likes that, unless you were hired to be that guy.
